Oshio is the debut Brighton restaurant of Korean-trained and Japanese-qualified chef, Min. Having spent years honing his skills in the restaurants of Korea, Japan, London and Brighton, Min opened Oshio in 2016, in Brighton’s North Laine. Fusing the purity of Japanese ingredients with the heat of Korean cuisine, Min has created a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to welcome guests.
From Min’s wife’s homemade kimchi, to Korean soju and Japanese sake, Oshio offers an authentic dining experience. Whether you’re looking for more well-known Japanese and Korean dishes, such as sushi, udon and bibimbap, or something a little more unusual, Oshio’s menu caters to everyone.
